The event will offer the southern charm and scenery of the Shanghai Pierce Ranch coupled with the fun atmosphere of zydeco music and traditional tastes of a crawfish boil, along with spirits, raffle and live auction. It's sure to be a night to remember! SPOT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping the abandoned pets of Wharton County. Our mission is to educate the public on the plight of abandoned pets and to provide humane care, treatment and suitable homes for animals without owners. To date, we have saved over 5,600 homeless dogs and cats—almost one per day—as well as assist residents with getting their pets spayed or neutered or community cats fixed. The proceeds from Waggin’ Tails will help save more homeless Wharton County dogs and cats.
